Beast Games is a perfect reflection of everything wrong with modern society.
It's a game where people are reduced to nothing but numbers—tools to fuel drama, manipulate emotions, and generate profit. There's no room for genuine connection, understanding, or empathy. It’s a pure scramble for dominance, where the loudest and most selfish win, and anyone who tries to work together for the greater good is punished. It’s like watching a pack of monkeys fighting for scraps, driven by instinct, not humanity. Watching this felt disturbing, honestly. It opened my eyes even wider to just how broken and unfair our world is. Many of the players were doomed before the game even started because of how it was set up. They never stood a chance—it was rigged from the beginning.
I’m intentionally keeping my analysis of Beast Games pretty surface-level. I’m just giving it enough attention to understand what’s going on because, to be honest, it doesn’t really deserve any more of my time or focus. The show is built around empty drama, and I’m not about to waste energy looking for meaning in something that doesn’t have it.
And that’s what Beast Games is really about. It’s not about skill, strategy, or working as a team. It’s about who can manipulate the system and survive. At its core, it’s just another mindless dopamine hijack, like every other game show. Flashy, loud, dramatic—a quick hit of excitement that doesn’t make you think, doesn’t make you question anything, and certainly doesn’t make you feel like you’re witnessing something genuine or meaningful.

One of the most revealing moments comes when Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast) says, “If you don’t turn around, they don’t exist.” That line sums up everything you need to know about him and the show. The people around him don’t matter. They’re just obstacles—tools to be moved around, eliminated, discarded. They’re not human beings—they’re just things in his game.
This lack of humanity is everywhere in the show. Like when a player cries after being eliminated, and Nolan says, “You can handle this one,” followed by, “Why I gotta handle it?” There’s no empathy, no care, no acknowledgment of the emotional toll. It’s cold, distant, and honestly cruel. And then there’s the constant chaos, the frantic yelling: “PRESS THE BUTTON! PRESS THE F**KING BUTTON!” People jumping up and down like monkeys, completely losing themselves in the madness. It's all instinct, no thought—just raw survival with no deeper purpose. This isn’t a game about strategy, learning, or growth. It’s about who can scream the loudest and force their way to the top. Watching Beast Games felt like a speedrun of everything wrong with the world—all in under 10 minutes. You see it all laid bare: dehumanization, lack of empathy, the constant fight for dominance. Players aren’t treated like people with their own stories—they’re reduced to numbers, pawns sacrificed for entertainment. There’s no heart, no depth. It’s just a spectacle designed to keep you hooked on drama. And that’s all it is: a distraction. We get brief glimpses into each contestant’s backstory, but with so many participants, there’s no real chance to connect with any of them. They’re only on screen for about 30 seconds. (if they're lucky)

The worst part is how it’s a mirror for the world we live in. We’re all kind of brainwashed into thinking our worth is tied to how well we can manipulate, dominate, and claw our way through a system that’s built to crush us. The people who want to work together, who try to build something real, get ignored or punished for caring. It’s like the whole system is designed to break you down, make you question your value, and force you to play by its rules just to survive. The loudest voices, the most selfish actions, and the biggest egos—that’s who rises to the top. And the ones who want to create something meaningful? They get left behind.
In the second round, this dilemma gets even worse: 12 rows, and in each row, someone must eliminate themselves to save the team. But if no one is left to sacrifice themselves in the last three rows, the entire team is eliminated. Players are asked to give up their chance for nothing. No reward, just the complete elimination of their chance to win. What frustrates me the most is how the game rewards the loudest, most selfish players—the ones who care only about themselves. The ones who know how to manipulate the system and get ahead without regard for the team. The players who want to work together, who want to build something real and lasting, are pushed aside and punished. This is a game of who can scream the loudest, who can manipulate the game to their advantage, who can outlast the others through pure instinct.

At the end of the day, Beast Games is just another show designed to hijack your dopamine. It keeps you hooked with flash, drama, and excitement. But behind all of that is nothing real. It’s a distraction, a spectacle with no substance. It’s loud, flashy, and designed to keep you coming back for more, but it doesn’t offer anything meaningful in return. People eat it up because it gives them that quick hit of excitement. But that’s all it is—a fleeting rush with no lasting value.
And this is exactly why I do what I do. It’s why I’m working on my book and writing these blogs twice a week. I want to create something genuine—something that isn’t about ego, drama, or manipulating the system. I want to create spaces where people can be themselves, without worrying about fitting into some mold. I want to build experiences that connect people on a deeper level, experiences that allow for true self-expression without the pressure of competition or ego. Because we don’t need more distractions like Beast Games. We need more ways to express who we really are. We need experiences that allow us to connect without the pressure of self-image or ego. We need spaces where we can grow, where we can share something real, and where we can feel connected to each other without all the competition and drama. That’s the kind of change I want to help create, and that’s why I’m so passionate about building something different. We don’t need more fake drama and ego-driven shows. We need real experiences that help us break free from these societal pressures. Experiences that let us be authentic. That’s the kind of change I want to make in the world, and it’s why I’m so driven to build something that isn’t just another distraction. AuthorHi, I’m Callan Hansen—just a guy driven by curiosity and a passion for exploring the deeper layers of existence. I started making games at 10, mostly because it was fun, but over time, it turned into something much bigger—a way to help people connect with parts of themselves they might not even realize are there. Beyond game development, my experiences with Salvia Divinorum have opened my mind to some eye-opening ideas about reality, connection, and the things we can’t always see or explain. A Quick Note About This Blog and My Book:Just so you know, everything you read here comes from my personal experiences, but I’ve used AI to help me get my thoughts across more clearly. It’s just a tool that helps me organize what I want to say, but the ideas and stories are all from me. I wanted to be upfront about how things came together. Thanks for taking the time to read my journey—I really appreciate it.
